Lina and Maja, as well as Timmy grew up in Gävle – a city north from Stockholm. Most famous for it’s iconic Christmas Goat – the largest straw goat in the world – that’s illegally being set on fire every year. But Gävle has more things to offer, especially on the music scene.
The Gävle Symphony Orchestra has been going on since 1912 and several great musicians come from here. Last Saturday a Local Heroes gala was held in the City Concert Hall to celebrate local musicians. With live performances covering heavy metal, side by side with electro acts, hip hop, folk, pop, traditional rock’n'roll, jazz, etc – Gävle shows a musical diversity you can’t find anywhere else in Sweden. CAVIARE DAYS RECEIVED A PRICE FOR “BEST BAND 2012″ – SOMETHING WE ARE REALLY PROUD OF. Many thanks, Gävle!
